A Modern Hangout

As guests of The Humanitarian Building, those who are working their way through our development program will be treated as family.

At The Hub we try to develop an environment that is one we appreciate ourselves.

We want everyone here to feel comfortable and safe.

The concept provides a sense of self value and normalization in an otherwise disruptive lifestyle.

Everyone in our community is equal regardless of who they were before enrollment.

The Program

The Humanitarian Building is focused on the development of Homeless individuals with the abilities to become productive members of society.

We serve our community by offering a development program to give our guests a proper boost back into a working lifestyle and social adherence. We provide them a secured and comfortable social atmosphere in which to gain a sense of normalcy and self awareness as well as a mandatory job placement program to develop their self worth.

Each applicant will go through an evaluation process and once enrolled in our program, each guest or family is given a room in which they are welcomed to stay as long as they are working at the job location we assign them.

We will provide security and comfort to our guests and in turn they will gain income and structural development skills to transfer back into society.

Our team will work along side each guest to ensure financial responsibility and well being is strictly adhered to.

Our outsourced business spaces will also serve our enrolled guests by providing common needs such as a postal annex, hair studio, doctors office, laundry facility, etc. Transportation to and from work will also be provided.

Working together with each on campus Non-Profit charity, food, clothing, toiletries, etc. will be provided to ensure each guest has everything in place to successfully go through our program and graduate into society on pace for long term success.

Each potential guest will be evaluated by a professional to determine social and working abilities, legal background, identification and psychological stability before being allowed to enter into our program.

The Hub is a protected environment. We want to ensure the safety of our staff and guests. We have 24hr video surveillance as well as a manned security team.

The rooms at The Hub are simple in design and provide a bed, night stand and closet. The idea of the smaller rooms is to promote public interaction within the community of guests. We believe interaction with each other is a key element in social growth.

The rooms will be divided into separate areas accessible only by badge. Men only, women only, and family. Each area has its own rest rooms and showers.

The common areas for our guests include the main social room with couches, chairs, tables, TVs and other amenities. There is an outdoor area with a fire pit and lounge area as well as a fitness area.

A kitchen will provide our guests on site meals and meal prep for work hours.

Our staff will work together with our guests to ensure everything is in place for them before they graduate from our campus.

They will remain our guest until they can earn enough money to have their own transportation and establish an apartment.

Once that happens, we will move them out and make way for the next guest.

Our aim is to Impact every need of our situationally underprivileged community, starting from basic psychological and security needs; moving towards increased self-esteem and self-actualization.

We are here to provide a stable and self-sufficient community to work, live, and most importantly feel loved and respected while on a path to restoring their income, housing and essential human needs.
